Daniela leads strategic planning and related evaluation and accountability activities for the University of Waterloo in Canada. Daniela's portfolio also includes oversight and monitoring of global and national rankings and survey methodologies. Daniela's academic background is in psychology, social psychology and community psychology. In the past, Daniela worked in the immigration sector and with various public health and population health agencies. She uses participatory, action research, social science research methods, including data triangulation approaches and quantitative and qualitative research, to answer key strategic progress, outcome and impact questions for the university. Daniela is a member of the QS Advisory Board.
